Leon Hawks - Pastor

A native of Ellerbe, North Carolina, the Rev. Leon Hawks is a graduate of Ellerbe High School, Fruitland Bible Institute and Campbell University. He attended Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina and has served as senior pastor of Southern Baptist congregations since 1965. His love for missions and desire to tell the "Good News" has compelled "Pastor Hawks" to begin Crosspointe Baptist Church.

Marcus Starnes - Minister to Students

Marcus Starnes along with his wife, Allison, and their two sons, Drake and Carter, came to Crosspointe Baptist Church in April 2007. Marcus is a graduate of Concord High School and Wingate University. He is currently working for a master's from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Donna Lang - Praise and Worship Leader

Donna Lang along with her husband Tim, came to Crosspointe February '06. Her love of music and a driven desire to lead/direct all to a heart of worship became an opportunity to serve in an on-going capacity since June '06. You can contact her at donnaclang@gmail.com.

Ellen "Bunny" Howell - Secretary

Bunny Howell and her family have attended Crosspointe since April 2006. Her husband, Jeff, a native of Concord, and their daughter Randi live nearby in a rural setting. Bunny enjoys her family, home, pets, reading, puzzles and worshipping and fellowshipping with her church family. She assumed the role of Secretary for Crosspointe in January 2007 and is active with the Cabarrus Baptist Church Secretaries’ Association. She has lived in Cabarrus County since 1982 and considers this her home.
